MOKOPANE: Parts of the Mokopane area experienced power outages. Residents and businesses in Mokopane are currently grappling with an electricity supply interruption affecting parts of the area due to a technical fault within the municipal electricity network.

According to the Mogalakwena local municipality, technicians have already been dispatched and are currently on site investigating the cause of the problem and carrying out the necessary repairs to restore the electricity supply as soon as possible.

 Municipal spokesperson Malesela Selokela said the municipality is treating the matter with urgency and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

“Residents are kindly requested to remain patient and take the necessary precautions while the power supply is being restored. The municipality sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused and appreciates the community’s understanding and cooperation during this time,” explained Selokela
