Municipality mum over OTM request to assist with provision of water in the villages

The OTM Political Party formally requested permission from the Mogalakwena Local Municipality to use its own funds to assist the affected communities by providing access to clean water. Unfortunately, the Municipality has not responded to this request to date.

During the visit to Pudiakgopa Village, the President of the OTM Political Party, Victor Mokonyane, asked the Tribal Authority to nominate five representatives from the community to be part of the delegation to visit Mogalakwena Municipality. These representatives will accompany OTM leadership to engage directly with the Mayor, Ngoako Thulani Taueatsoala, and the Municipal Manager, Morris Montego Maluleka, to formally request permission for OTM Political Party to proceed with the water provision initiative.
